    The Evolution of Telehealth

COVID-19 has impacted our lives in many ways. As the world was adapting to stay-at-home orders and quarantining, health care providers and patients required new methods of giving and receiving care. Prior to the pandemic, less than 10% of providers in Michigan reported offering telehealth services. Within a two-month span, the number of primary care physicians and behavioral health specialists utilizing telehealth skyrocketed to more than 80%, becoming new normal for care delivery in Michigan and across the United States.

During this live, one-hour, Master Class webinar, experts from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will take a deep-dive look at the recent expansion of telemedicine services, how care can be measured and delivered through digital tools and provide insight on the future technology and trends with virtually delivered care. Participants can expect to learn about telemedicine options available to them and their business, as well as how Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is supporting this evolution in medicine, both during the pandemic and moving forward.

    Resiliency in the Workplace

Everyone has experienced stress in one form or another, and this year has proven no exception. From the rippling effects of COVID-19, including social distancing, fear of contracting the disease and uncertainty about the future to the difficult conversations about social injustice, your employees are facing new challenges and stressors that have never been experienced before.

In addition to these sources of stress in today’s world, the workplace continues to be identified as the top stressor in your employees’ life. These compounding factors directly impact your business through poor employee performance and productivity, which can stem from serious mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Therefore, as an employer, it is critical to face these issues head-on.

During this one-hour, Blue Cross Master Class webinar, our experts will weigh in on the concept of resiliency. We will focus on the role of resiliency in the world today and what you can do as an employer to promote a resilient workplace with help from your health plan. Lastly, we will provide you with educational resources and tools to help you understand and address resiliency with your workforce.
